ANCIENT MAYAN CRYSTAL SKULL COMING IN MAY OF 2012!
New Mystics Arts, Inc. (NMA), through the Center for Arts and Education, provides a space for learning, artistic expression, and personal growth. Community members of all ages can discover and embrace the arts in all their many forms. NMA offers a gathering place for artists, writers, performers, health practitioners, and other professionals to share ideas, network, and collaborate.
The Center also holds poetry readings and musical and theatrical open mic events as well as gallery shows, such as the recent collaboration between painter Melissa May and poet Joey Madia entitled “Elemental M(a)ythologies,” and is always seeking to add instructors in the following disciplines: Visual Arts, Music, Yoga and Meditation. The Center is home to New Mystics Theatre Company, which provides social justice education and outreach through the arts to area schools and organizations.
